Christmukah Begins

Last night was the first night of Chanukah and so our holiday season has officially begun!! We started things off by packing the car with PB&J's and driving around the city looking at Christmas lights. We found a really neat house that had tons of lights and a sign in their front yard advertising for a radio station. Upon tuning to this radio station, we discovered that the lights were set to music. It was quite the spectacle. The kids loved it!

After our lights tour, we came home and lit the Chanukiah. The kids helped Joel light and then Isabel got to open her first Chanukah present. (For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Chanukah traditions, you light one candle and give one gift for each of the 8 nights of Chanukah) She got Kung Fu Panda, but has some trouble with this title so when she unwrapped it she yelled "Hassassoo Panda"!!!!
