I did not forget that I promised to be better about taking pictures. While I was not as good as I was hoping to be, I did keep my promise and I did take more pictures of the kids. We have had some very cold temperatures here and several snow storms that have left us home bound and snuggled by the fire. Sometimes when we have a snow day we like to put a fire in the fireplace and watch a movie and we like to have popcorn and treats for dinner :) Here are a few pictures of one such evening and then some pictures of the kids' activities the next day while Joel was shoveling the deck!

I love this picture because it reminds me of that Little Golden Book "Goodnight, Little Bear". It was one of my very favorites when I was a kid! Plus, it kills me how Gabe has his hands wrapped around Joel and Teddy Bear at the same time :) CUTE!
Snow Angels

The kids got these snow discs for Christmas. They were so excited to use them ... even though we did not have any hills!! They made it work!
