Chanukah Nights 6-8

It's an understatement to say that I dropped the ball on the holiday blogging. Once Chunkah was upon us things catapulted into action and we haven't quit since.

Auntie Mady was here with us that night.

For the 8th night of Chanukah we all gathered at Joel's parents' house. It has been our tradition that we pick a day and all get together to exchange gifts with the rest of the family. We usually meet around lunch time and hang out all day and then Janice takes the kids downstairs to watch a movie and the rest of us eat, drink and play board games. Once the kids have finished their movie, they have a big sleepover together downstairs in the living room. This year, for some reason, the adults were too tired to play games so we sat around for awhile and then turned in ourselves. The next day we had homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then gathered around the pole (you'll see what I mean in the pics) to open presents!!
