Disney on Ice

For the last few years Isabel and I have been going to see Disney on Ice at the World Arena when it comes through town. She looks forward to it all year long and looks for the information card to come in the mail. This year, we recieved our information card at the beginning of February and it's been on the refrigerator ever since. We thought that maybe this year we would make it a family outing and we'd see how Gabe did with sitting still for a couple of hours. So, we bought tickets for opening night (because they were WAY cheaper) and on Thursday night we headed out for our first Disney on Ice as a family of 4! We started by having a steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse (the kids LOVE steak!) and then we went over to the World Arena to await the appearance of Mickey and his friends. I say every year that the look on Isabel's face when her favorite characters come out on the ice is worth every penny we spend to go and this year was no different. Both kids had a great time and the excitement on their faces melted my heart! And Gabe did fantastic! He sat still and watched and he enjoyed the show just as much as Isabel did! I think we'll be doing it again next year!
