Many of you know that I've been working with a good friend of mine for the last year or so to put on our 10 year high school reunion. After months and months of planning and hard work the big day finally arrived. The reunion was on July 10. We had a pretty small turn out so weren't sure what to expect, but everything turned out wonderfully and everyone had a great time!! We had a yummy dinner and did a lot of visiting and took a few pictures and when it was time to clean up we actually had to kick everybody out. I think that's a pretty good problem to have!! We were having such a good time visiting that we decided to move the party downtown for some martinis and some dancing. We didn't get home until 2am!!!!! I haven't done that in YEARS!!! I also got to experience my first country music club and I must say I LOVED IT!!!!!!!! Everyone makes fun of me for how much I liked it, but what can I say? .... I LOVED IT!!
The next day we had a family picnic for whoever wanted to come and show off their family! We had another small turn out, but it was nice to see everyone's families and to watch the kids play together! Overall the whole weekend was a big success!! We were exhausted afterwards and it took me a good 3 days to recover, but I'm glad everything went well and I'm even more glad that it's all over! :) Glad these things only come around every 10 years!
