This year, Easter Sunday was very snowy in Colorado! I took pictures all day long and as I was downloading them onto the computer I realized that I didn't take a single picture of the snow outside. It was a beautiful snow. Very wet and HUGE flakes! Very typical of a Colorado spring. Anyway, our day started out with breakfast and then a hunt for Easter baskets. The kids found their baskets hidden in their rooms and were able to enjoy their new things while we were getting ready for church. When we got home from church, my parents came over for Easter dinner. We had planned to BBQ flank steaks and roast chiles, but since we had close to 2" of snow by this time, Joel had to pull the grill into the garage and do the grilling in there. Dinner was delicious!!!! After dinner, it was off to bed for the kids. After naps, we had an easter egg hunt ...... in the living room. The kids had a great time collecting their eggs. We actually have one that is still hidden ... we hid it and can't remember where it is, but we came up one short on the final count. Do jelly beans have a long shelf life?? We had a very happy Easter this year!
