Installation Complete!

We are the proud new owners of this.......
(Well, I'm a proud new owner, Joel is a bit of a begrudging new owner, but he'll warm up once he sees how convenient it will be)

because this is on the way .....

That's right, I've finally worn Joel down!! He stopped resisting me and saw the error of his ways. Baby #3 is expected to arrive in late June/early July.

So far this pregnancy has been similar to my pregnancy with Isabel ... which makes me think that this is a girl! We found out I was pregnant the week that we moved which has made unpacking and settling in a bit difficult. I've been very tired and have not had any energy. I've also been pretty nauseous. I called the midwife and she gave me some vitamins that have been helping a lot with the fatigue, but the nausea is still an issue. I am 10 1/2 weeks along now, so I'm hoping that the sickness will go away very soon.
We are planning to do another homebirth! Our experience last time was so perfect and we are excited to do it again! I had my first appointment with the midwife yesterday. My official due date is June 25, but I am planning on actually giving birth in July .... my track record says LATE LATE LATE! The kids were able to come with us to see the midwife and they got to see the ultrasound which was really cool. The baby was moving around in there and it was fun to see it bouncing around like a little Mexican Jumping Bean! When she had finished the ultrasound and I sat up Gabe said, "Mommy, is the baby in there now?" Merrie (the midwife) assured him that "the installation was complete!" Oh I love that boy!

Here's what Baby Center has to say about the little one:
Although he's barely the size of a kumquat -- a little over an inch or so long, crown to bottom -- and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce, your baby now has completed the most critical portion of his development. This is the beginning of the so-called fetal period, a time when the tissues and organs in his body rapidly grow and mature. If you could take a peek inside your womb, you'd spot minute details, like tiny nails forming on fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair beginning to grow on tender skin.
