The weather has finally started being consistently nice. We have been in the 70's for about a week straight now!! Our lawn is getting green and everything is starting to grow! Last week, Joel decided he'd mow the lawn one day after work. We all went outside and the kids played on the swing set and in the sandbox and Joel got out the lawn mower. I was a little worried that Gabe would be so curious about the lawn mower that he'd try to venture across the lawn to check it out and get hurt. He loves anything with a motor! So, I came outside and positioned myself on the porch to be on Gabe-duty. To our surprise, as soon as Joel started up the mower, Gabe ran inside and watched the whole thing from behind the back door. He didn't come out until Joel had put the mower away. This actually works out very well for me. I don't think I'm going to need to worry about Gabe and the lawn mower this summer!!
I know all of the playing-outside shots of Isabel are of her on this swing, but this is her favorite thing to do outside and she spends most of her time here. If you look closely you can even see that she brought her Barbie along for the ride this time!
